During project week, the children learnt about bakers. They discussed what bakers do, where they work and the tools that they use. During cookery, the children decided to bake a chocolate chip banana cake. They worked together to scoop, pour, measure, stir and mix. The cake turned out to be absolutely delicious!
During art, the children worked in groups to create a cake craft. First, they brainstorm and drafted their designs onto drawing blocks. Then, they created beautifully decorated cakes using boxes, straws, coloured paper, crepe paper, sequins and pompoms.
