This week theme was Volcanoes. Our teacher read us a story, "Volcanoes." We discussed volcano eruptions.
A volcano is made up of melted rocks, then it formed into magma and when an eruption occurs, lava fluid flows down from the top of the volcano.
We watched a video clip about volcano eruptions on the board. We were amazed by how powerful a volcano can be.
We knew that there were 3 types of volcanoes, the active, the dormant and the extinct.
We performed an experiment to mimic a volcano eruption. The things used were Plasticine, a Vitagen bottle, baking soda, water and vinegar.
Everyone had a chance to create the eruptions. We were amazed by the sight of the erupting volcano.
