本周，我们通过阅读故事《剑鱼》、《狮子之乡》了解了丹戎巴葛和“新加坡”这个名字的来源和传说，并认识书写了美丽的、长长的等形容词。在周四的系列阅读活动中，小朋友一起读故事、认字词，并把认识的汉字记录在自己制作的小书中，每周都会更新和复习。
This week, we understood the origins of the names 'Singapore' and 'Tanjong Pagar' through storytelling. The books that we read were 'Swordfish' and 'Lion City'. We learnt adjectives such as beautiful and long. Through the reading series books, the children learnt new mandarin words and recorded them in the mini books that they made. They will be recording new words and revising old ones weekly.
