On Valentine’s Day, the children had a special meal together. They made some mouthwatering Hawaiian pizzas! First, they children spread some tomato sauce onto their bread. Then, they filled their bread with pineapple, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. These healthy pizzas then went into the oven for 10 minutes before being served. Yummy, yummy, in our tummies!
In the playground, the children learnt a new stability skill: turning. They used different parts of their bodies to practise this skill and had tremendous fun turning in pairs, using scarves to help maintain balance. Rolling and turning their bodies in pairs required coordination and teamwork, and after some practice, they did an awesome job. Finally, we had a relay race and played ‘Parachutes’.
