Thank you parents for your enthusiasm during the Learning Journey at the Airport. Together with the children, you have racked your brains, zipped through terminals on the sky trains, and were caught on camera with big smiles. Well done!
Back in school, we named the parts of the airport, parts of the plane, created an airport craft and constructed an aeroplane out of Lego.
We learnt vocabulary relating to the airport such as terminal, control tower, runway, check-in counter and baggage counter. We labelled parts of the plane such as cockpit, tail fin, landing gear and wings. We displayed our creativity through our 3-Dimensional airport crafts and Lego aeroplanes.
It was a relatively short learning week but we all had lots of fun with our families, teachers and friends!
