Your baby may be working on walking this month, holding on to whatever he can to help him cruise through the house. To keep him safe, make sure that you secure free standing bookshelves, lamps, and other unstable furniture that might tumble when he grabs it.
Leave his feet bare too - that'll help him keep his balance as he takes those first stumbling steps. And of course, stay close by to lend a helping hand. Remember, babies have their own individual timetables. At this age, some babies will begin to do things much earlier or later than others.
